Laboratory Precision, Home Convenience

For patients with limited mobility, busy schedules, or those who find clinical environments anxious, home-based diagnostics offer a seamless solution. We bridge the gap between your home and the laboratory, ensuring your doctor gets the data they need to manage your health effectively.

Who Benefits?

  • Elderly & Housebound Patients: Individuals who find it physically challenging to visit a lab or hospital.

  • Chronic Disease Patients: Those requiring frequent monitoring, such as regular blood sugar or kidney function tests.

  • Pre-Surgical Patients: Individuals needing baseline “fitness-for-surgery” tests before an operation.

  • Health-Conscious Individuals: Anyone looking for routine wellness screenings with maximum privacy and convenience.

What we do: Technical Procedures & Tasks

Our nursing team is equipped to perform a variety of sample collections and rapid tests:

  • Blood Sample Collection (Phlebotomy): Expert blood draws for full blood counts, liver function, thyroid tests, and more.

  • Urine & Stool Collection: Provision of sterile kits and professional handling of samples for culture and sensitivity testing.

  • Swab Collection: Wound swabs to check for infection, as well as throat or specialized swabs for diagnostic screening.

  • Point-of-Care Testing (POCT): Immediate results for Random Blood Sugar (RBS), pregnancy tests, and urinalysis (dipstick).

  • ECG Recording: Using portable, high-quality devices to record your heart’s electrical activity at rest.

Safety, Accuracy & Trust

We treat every sample with clinical rigor to ensure the results your doctor receives are 100% reliable.

  • Chain of Custody: We follow strict labeling and transport protocols to ensure samples are never compromised or misplaced.

  • Certified Phlebotomists: Our clinicians are highly skilled in “difficult access” draws, ensuring a painless and efficient experience.

  • Sterile Procedures: We use vacuum-sealed collection tubes and sterile, single-use needles for every patient.

  • Privacy: Your diagnostic data is handled with the highest level of confidentiality, compliant with local health data laws.

Results

Once processed, results are sent directly to your referring doctor or provided to you via our secure patient portal.

FAQs on Diagnostics & Sample Collection

  • Do I need a doctor’s referral?

For specific laboratory tests (like blood chemistry), a referral is usually required. For point-of-care tests like blood sugar or pregnancy tests, you can request them directly.

  • How long do results take?

Most blood results are available within 24–48 hours. Point-of-care tests (like urinalysis) are immediate.

  • Is it painful?

Our nurses are experts in phlebotomy. We use the smallest needles possible and techniques designed to minimize discomfort.

  • Do I need to fast?

Some tests (like cholesterol or glucose) require you not to eat for 8–12 hours. We will confirm this with you when you book.

  • What happens to the samples?

They are placed in biohazard-safe, temperature-controlled containers and taken immediately to an accredited clinical lab.

  • Can you do an ECG at my home?

Yes. We use portable, medical-grade ECG machines that provide high-resolution readings of your heart's activity.
